Need to provide a fairly secure password recovery mechanism based on user's email address.
See what ideas are being used. Examples:
1) Secret - not ideal.
2) Message sent to user's e-mail allowing them to click on a "secret" URL that will reset their password to one provided at the URL. URL in message is only valid for ??? amount of time after being sent/triggered.30 votes
Some people run from point A to point B and then back again, along the same path.
For these situations, it is extremely hard, if not impossible, to adequately map out the route in the current creator tool. The first set of points, from A to B, interfere with the creation of the route back from B to A.
Propose a feature that would trace the route back to the starting point. Clicking this would automatically insert route points back from B to A, saving the user the trouble.20 votes
In actual use cases it was noted that some users were creating routes with multiple laps by manually creating the loops by clicking around multiple times.
Should provide two features:
1) Close a loop: Connects the last existing point with the first.
2) Then when this is activated(? may not want to limit to this), allow user to enter the NUMBER of laps of the loop, automatically figuring out the actual distance.11 votes
Sometimes we just follow the existing roads so a *great* feature would be to get something like google directions where we can just place some places where we passed through and then have the rest of the path snap to the roads between them.
Of course there would be errors but we could always add drag the route. :D10 votes
In the training log, only stats for the current year/month/week are shown. Should provide a section/page where stats can be viewed for a *particular* year/month/week.
This way, users will have a better idea of how they are progressing as they can compare on a week-by-week or month-by-month basis.8 votes
Should also show a graph so users can visualize the progression.
Example: A outdoor running track route. When adding entries to the log, I'd rather specify X number of laps rather than a) manually multiplying out the true distance or b) adding multiple log entries for one run.6 votes
Widgets would allow running routes to be displayed on any website and provide a link back to RunTrackr for more details.5 votes
When viewing a single route, show other running routes that are geographically close to that one so that users can more easily find what they're interested in.3 votes
Fix route preview display; for some routes the static image preview does not work, probably because there are too many points or the URL is malformed.

Provide a slider or other UI widget to filter search results by min/max distance.0 votes
